That’s a catchy little number, who sings that?

Possibly the reason I admire this stuff so much is because of the hours and hours I spent as a child trying to dub together amusing conurbations of other recordings, like getting the “you will know it is time to turn the page when you hear the chimes ring like this” storybook tapes to incorporate loads of swearing.

So anyway, enjoy.

The Crappening

Anybody who’s about on Friday night and wants to be part of a Twitter event: Graham Linehan (writer of Father Ted, and The IT Crowd) is assembling Bad Film Club.

I’m organising a Bad Film Club event online for Friday night (13th Feb). At exactly 9.00pm, myself and some likeminded Twitterers will be pressing ‘play’ on M Night Shyamalan’s ‘The Happening’,  and blogging our responses to the magic as it unfolds. Now, this is uncharted territory for me, and I have no way of knowing whether it’ll work, but dammit, it’s worth a shot, isn’t it? Isn’t this what ‘Why Don’t You’ told us to do, all those years ago? (Actually, it’s the polar opposite to what they told us to do, but never mind).

So if you’re up for it, get a hold of a copy of The Happening, get yourself signed up on Twitter & make sure you’ve got a reasonably responsive client (like Tweetdeck), and at 21:00GMT on Friday, strap in and get ready for some cynical global banter!

Oooh, what’s he been in again?

The goons over at Something Awful have excelled themselves (as usual) with a recent Photoshop Phriday topic: Same Actor, Wrong Role.  Is it really considered excelling if the standard doesn’t actually waver much in quality?

I can smell your lunch

I can smell your lunch

Be that as it may, after the glorious and numerous traditions of sticking a seemingly incongruous however actually linked thing in the midst of another thing, here’s this.
